27 Feb The Warfield Park Garden Competition Returns!🌻
We are absolutely delighted to announce the return of the Warfield Park 2026 Garden Competition — back for the first time in more than two decades!
This much-loved event is all about celebrating the creativity, care and community spirit that make Warfield Park & The Paddocks such a special place to live. Whether you have blooming flower beds, a wildlife haven, or a beautifully kept lawn, we can’t wait to see what you’ve been growing.
And yes… the trophies are officially being polished in preparation 🏆✨ — with additional prizes to be announced very soon!🌼 Our Objectives
The competition aims to:
Encourage community engagement
Celebrate gardening creativity
Promote sustainability
Support wildlife-friendly gardening practices
We want to showcase gardens of all shapes and sizes — it’s not about having the biggest space, but about the love, imagination and effort you put into it.🌱 Competition Rules:
- To keep things fair and enjoyable for everyone:
- The competition is open to all Warfield Park residents.
- Gardens must be maintained primarily by the resident(s).
- Professional landscapers must not be hired specifically for the competition.
- Only living plants and natural materials will be judged (no artificial flowers or displays).
- Two judges will attend during judging week, with a third reviewing their decisions.
- Judges’ decisions are final.
- By entering, you agree to photos being used for Warfield Park publicity.
Judging Criteria:
- Our judges will be looking for:
- Creativity and effort (not just size or expense)
