Warfield Park Welcomes HARPA: A New Chapter for the Holiday & Residential Parks Sector

The UK’s national association representing holiday and residential parks has entered an exciting new era.
The British Holiday & Home Parks Association (BH&HPA)— the respected body that has served our sector for over 75 years — has officially changed its name to the Holiday and Residential Parks Association (HARPA).
This evolution marks a renewed focus on strengthening the identity, visibility, and collective voice of the diverse organisations that make up our sector. HARPA’s updated name better reflects the association’s wide-ranging membership, which includes:
  •  holiday parks
  • residential park home estates
  • parks with mixed holiday and residential offerings
  • and the many suppliers, partners, and professionals who support them
A Name That Reflects a Modern, United Sector
The new HARPA name places clear emphasis on the association’s dual role — representing both  holiday parks and residential park homes — while supporting its mission to give members a stronger platform in conversations with stakeholders across all four nations of the UK.
Warfield Park — Proud Members Since 1950
At Warfield Park, we are proud to have been members of BH&HPA — now — since its inception in 1950 as the then NFSO (National Federation of Site Operators).
For more than seven decades, our commitment has remained the same:
  • to work alongside like‑minded organisations
  •  to uphold and continually improve standards
  • to support fair, responsible, and high‑quality management across the sector
  • and to champion the interests of the residents and communities who call our parks home
As HARPA moves forward with renewed energy and clarity, Warfield Park stands firmly alongside them, contributing to a collaborative effort that strengthens the whole sector.
Looking Ahead
This rebrand signals a positive step for the future of holiday and residential parks across the UK.  HARPA’s refreshed identity will help enhance representation, promote professionalism, and ensure that our sector continues to evolve in a way that supports residents, holiday marker, visitors, businesses, and communities.
We look forward to continuing our long‑standing partnership with HARPA and supporting their vital work in shaping a thriving, sustainable future for our industry.
