Saturday 15th August What a celebration! 🎉🥂

Saturday afternoon was certainly one to remember as Warfield Park Community Association celebrated an incredible 50 years — and it’s safe to say the WPCA knows how to throw a party! 🎂🎈❤️

From the moment everyone arrived, there was a fantastic atmosphere. The marquee looked brilliant, the music was playing, the food was delicious and, of course, the drinks were flowing! 🍻🥂🎶

A Huge Thank You ❤️

A celebration like this doesn’t just happen by itself, so a HUGE thank you has to go to the wonderful WPCA committee and everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes.

From organising the entertainment and putting up the marquee to sorting the food, drinks and all those little details that make an event special — your hard work certainly paid off. 👏❤️

It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying themselves, catching up with old friends, meeting neighbours and sharing plenty of laughs.

And that really is what Warfield Park is all about — community. 🏡💛

50 Years of Friendship, Laughter and Memories 🎂

Fifty years is quite a milestone!

Over the decades, so many people have played a part in making Warfield Park the community it is today. Residents have come and gone, friendships have been made, countless events have been enjoyed and probably more than a few stories have been created that are best left on the dance floor! 😂💃🕺

Saturday’s celebrations were a lovely reminder of just how special our community is.

There was laughter everywhere, people chatting away, neighbours enjoying each other’s company and that wonderful feeling of everyone simply being happy to be together.

We really do have the BEST community. 

A special message from Barry Sumner – Warfield Parks Managing Director  

“What a stupendoes moment, from a gem of an idea to one small caravan, an ex-water board portacabin to the magnificent hall.  I am proud to have been a small cog in making it progress. To every past chair, committee member and all residents past and present my heartfelt congratulations. From one small caravan and an old Water Board Portakabin to the magnificent hall and thriving community we have today — it really does put the last 50 years into perspective.”

Thank you, Barry, and congratulations to every Chair, committee member, volunteer and residents — past and present — who has helped write another chapter in the Warfield Park story.

And That Was Only the Afternoon… 🪩

Of course, anyone thinking the afternoon party was the end of the celebrations clearly doesn’t know Warfield Park very well!

As the afternoon drew to a close, there was still round two to come. 🥂

More live music. 🎶
More drinks. 🥂
More laughter. 😂
More celebrating. 🎉

And, most importantly…

THE DANCE FLOOR! 🪩💃🕺

After an afternoon of refreshments, there was every chance we were going to see some very interesting dance moves appearing later in the evening! 😂
